National We Choose sign launch in Kelowna

The very first We Choose campaign lawn signs were planted on Cadder Ave. in Kelowna on March 12.  These signs will now begin to blossom like crocus in spring in swing ridings across the country!

Kelowna campaign screens the documentary film Digital Disconnect

FRIENDS’ supporters and Okanagan region residents filled the theatre at the Rotary Centre for the Arts to watch the riveting documentary, Digital Disconnect on March 12th.  This film laid bare the damage social media giants like Facebook are doing to our democracy and the need for a strong CBC and local journalism as a countervailing force.

Kelowna campaign launched!

A large and enthusiastic group of FRIENDS’ supporters gathered on November 27th at the beautiful Rotary Centre for the Arts to launch the We Choose campaign. It was a terrific start to the campaign in the riding of Kelowna—Lake Country.
